GENERAL INSTRUCTION FOR VIETNAM E-VISA
Vietnam e-visa is only available for citizens from 80 countries

Vietnam e-visa must register via Government online website, then file e-visa letter correctly at registered port.
Vietnam e-visa does not require sponsor, you can obtain it by yourself
- E-visa is singe entry visa and only allow you to stay in Vietnam for 30 days without any further extension
- To stay longer in Vietnam, you have to get new e-visa or get visa on arrival
- The Authority needs 03 working days for processing your e-visa application
- E-visa application requires your passport must have the remaining validity is more than 30 days count to the expiration of e-visa. E-visa expiration date must be at least 30 days before passport expiry date
- E-visa holder must enter Vietnam through a chosen checkpoint and leave via that chosen point.
- Only 33 checkpoints are available for e-visa holder to enter Vietnam
HOW TO OBTAIN VIETNAM E-VISA
Document preparation
Preparing the required documents such as: passport picture, photo of passport data page, address in Vietnam, point of entry and exit.
Visa application submission
Submitting the prepared application in Vietnam Government Website: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/
Pay the E-visa fee
Paying Vietnam Evisa Government fee: 25 USD. The Vietnam Authority will take 03 working days for application processing.
Receiving E-visa Letter
Receiving your e-visa via your registered email and print it out for your trip.
Vienam Visa on Arrival
If you would love to stay long-term in Vietnam (3 months or more), you have to apply for a visa on arrival.
This visa will be granted to foreigner who established their company in Vietnam.
The visa duration will be subject to their Vietnam-based company’s capital.
This visa will be granted to any persons who have a business relationship with a Vietnam-based company.
Working visa will be granted to a foreign employee who is legally working in a Vietnam-based company.
Family visa is granted to a foreigner who has relationship with Vietnamese citizen or foreigner who already had Vietnam residence card (such as spouse, and children).
Condition to obtain a visa on arrival:
This visa will require a sponsor who is willing to sponsor and take responsibility to invite a foreign visitor traveling to Vietnam.
Depending on the type of visa on arrival, the sponsor can be a Vietnam-based company or a family member. If the sponsor is a Vietnam-based company, the Vietnam Immigration Authority will require its strong profile (capital, revenue, business activities, business location, offices, etc).
